Game – Rest In Purple Ft. Lorine Chia

It’s not often, but when gangster rappers delve into their emotional side, you know its gonna catch some feels.

This is akin to Game spittin on Doctors Advocate, when he parted ways with mentor and friend, Dr. Dre, owing to his beef with 50 Cent, which consequently spilled over to the record label.

Anyway, here’s Game paying homage to the legacy of Prince with decent hook work by Lorine Chia, and the dope sampling of When Doves Cry by Bongo By The Way.

Bump Rest In Purple below.

Big K.R.I.T. – Sticks & Stones

Last week, Big Krizzle, did his thang on Mass Appeal’s, Rhythm Roulette Series – where a producer’s blindfolded in a record store, picks 3 random records from across the piles, and manufactures a full beat on the spot.

To add to the task, the Missisippi emcee spit a few bars on top, but the video was cut short – leaving us wanting more.

Well, here’s the culmination of that effort in its entirety, and its DOPE!

Bump Sticks & Stones below, and recognize a real talent in the game.

Royce 5’9″ – Dead President Heads

Royce 5′ 9″ is gearing up for his upcoming album release, Layers next month, and we have left-overs.

Straight BARS from the Slaughterhouse emcee, as he gets introspective and commentary on this upbeat Streetrunner production.

Bump the latest, Dead President Heads below, and this one’s set to be released in an accompanying EP from Royce, titled Tabernacle: Trust The Shooter.

Elzhi – Two 16’s”

By now, y’all know I rock heavy with Elzhi and his raps; and here’s a loosie from the Detroit lyricist comprising of Two 16’s.”

Last week, I featured the chill, tasteful video, February, which is off his highly anticipated upcoming album, Lead Poison, dropping on the 25th.

Well, Elzhi’s back spittin more bars, with a soulful Karriem Riggins on the boards. [The same dude that produced Kanye West’s, 30 Hours by the way].

That being said, bump Elzhi’s latest release below, and stay tuned for his album drop in late March.
