GoldLink – New Black

Washington DC, up-and-comer, GoldLink, (currently touring with Mac Miller, on his GO:OD AM tour), drops yet another single from his upcoming debut album, And After That We Didn’t Talk, which is being released by L.A. based record label, Soulection tomorrow.

And with previous dope releases, such as Dance On Me, Spectrum, and the latest premiere of Dark Skinned Woman on Annie Mac’s, BBC Radio 1 show, the hype is cemented after today’s release.

Finally, alluding to the interview with Annie Mac, the DMV rapper talks about how this endeavor’s meant to usher an upbeat kind of meaningful hip-hop, which is almost non-existent in the game, unless we’re referring to the mind-numbing trap and auto tune folks out there or conservative boom-bap shit – which I am unapolagetically a fan of by the way.
