Comey makes deal over House subpoena, backs off legal fight

Comey wrote Sunday on Twitter that he was "grateful for a fair hearing from judge".

In a tweet Sunday, Comey referred to those in-court statements and said "this is the closest I can get to public testimony".

He later withdrew his petition on Sunday, agreeing to sit down for the deposition with the ability to release a transcript to the public within 24 hours.

But Mr. Comey filed a motion to halt their subpoena and delay the proceedings last week, with his attorney telling a federal judge on Friday he would talk publicly.

Following his tweet, House Judiciary Chair Bob Goodlatte tweeted that he had offered the former FBI Director a deal to make his transcripts public following his testimony.

World Health Organization charge African countries to improve funding on HIV testing, treatment
However the sole support of the Government will not suffice to prevent HIV/AIDS, all and everybody must engage in preventing HIV/AIDS.

The committee is expected to question Comey about decisions made by the FBI in 2016, including the FBI's investigations into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server, and possible collusion between Russian Federation and Trump's presidential campaign.

"Mr. Comey will join us for a closed-door transcribed interview later this week".

Comey also had asked McFadden to put an immediate halt to the joint committee proceedings that led to his subpoena, a request of the kind that no judge in US history has ever granted.

Democrats have complained that the Republican-led inquiry is a partisan effort to undermine Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into the Russia-related claims.

Republican lawyers said they wanted to secure Comey's testimony ahead of a report that the committees are planning to release in the coming weeks.

Cristiano Ronaldo set to boycott this year's Ballon d'Or ceremony
AS has obtained the list which displays the winners hours before the actual announcement is set to take place. The victor of the 2018 Ballon d'Or has been leaked hours before the official ceremony.

The Kremlin has denied meddling in the USA elections, and Trump denies colluding with Moscow, repeatedly calling the Mueller probe a political "witch hunt" with no basis in fact.

Trump fired Comey in 2017. And it says he was "personally involved" with the Russian Federation probe and "signed off" on the surveillance warrant for Trump advisor Carter Page, who came under scrutiny for his Russian Federation ties during the campaign.

The December 3 hearing has been largely viewed as an attempt by Republicans to sneak in one more Comey hearing before Democrats take control in one month's time.

House Republicans have also subpoenaed former Attorney General Loretta Lynch to testify about whether her conversations with former President Bill Clinton on a Phoenix tarmac influenced the Clinton investigation.
