In Riviera Beach, the Palm Beach County Canvassing Board met Friday morning to review "anomalous" ballots not yet counted because of irregularities that prevented a machine-reading. Her department's website said ballots cast on Election Day have been counted.

Scott holds a slim lead over Nelson in the race.

So far, new ballots pouring in have narrowed Scott's lead over incumbent Democratic Sen.

As the Chairman of the political law practice Perkins Coie, Elias represents almost all of the Democratic senators, according to RollCall, and his firm also represents the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, and the Democratic Governors' Association as a whole.

The Broward County suit sought records on the counting and collection of ballots, according to the Associated Press and the Miami Herald. Bill Nelson by 15,000 votes, has won his first lawsuit against Palm Beach County Elections Supervisor Susan Bucher.

Elias bases his claims largely in part to what is happening in Broward County where they are still counting ballots and where there was a large undervote in the Senate race.

Under Florida law, a 0.5 percent margin in an election automatically triggers a machine recount, while a 0.25 percent margin automatically triggers a manual recount, or recount by hand.

Beto O'Rourke vs. Ted Cruz
The problem for O'Rourke was that he was running in Texas, a state that hasn't sent a Democrat to the U.S. The best moment of all arguably comes near the end with a final exchange between Cruz and Triumph.

"They just now find the votes in Florida and Georgia while the elections were on Tuesday?"

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said it will review allegations of criminal fraud but had no active investigations.

The Senate race in Arizona between two United States congresswomen, Democrat Kyrsten Sinema and Republican Martha McSally, appeared days away from a final call with hundreds of thousands of ballots yet to be tallied. Bucher also has a 12 p.m. Saturday deadline to submit unofficial midterm election results.

Zeckman said Friday that the lawsuit is asking the court "to overrule election officials and accept ballots that were not legally cast".

The hiring came after Scott derided Nelson for hiring Elias as "one of Hillary Clinton's lawyers from D.C".

"It is not appropriate for the governor of any state to suggest that he's going to use the power of the state to interject", Elias said.

A group of about 30 sign-holding Republican protesters gathered outside the office of Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes, singing "The Star Spangled Banner" and "God Bless America".

Barcelona's Lionel Messi not in squad to face Inter Milan
Messi, 31, has not played since breaking a bone in his arm in a win over Sevilla on October 20. In addition to Messi being injured, Samuel Umtiti will miss another game with a knee injury.

Nelson, who trails Gov. Rick Scott with a slim 0.18 percent margin, believes the final vote total will continue to move in his favor before a recount is called Saturday. Florida state law requires officials to match signatures on mail-in and provisional ballots against existing state records in order to include the ballot in the vote.

A lawyer for Democratic U.S. Sen. "Florida voted for Rick Scott!". "Nelson is going to be determined to be the victor and he's going to return to the United States Senate", Elias insisted during a Thursday morning conference call with reporters. Earlier the president said "there could be" when asked by reporters whether he'd direct a federal intervention in the Florida race.

Neither Scott nor any other Republicans have pointed to specific malfeasance in this election, let alone evidence of fraud, beyond the slow vote count. The machine recount could begin that same day, with the results due by November 15.

On Twitter, Mr Trump weighed in briefly on Georgia's ongoing election, where another Republican claimed victory on Tuesday before ballots were completely counted.

President Trump on Friday blamed Florida's potential recount in its gubernatorial and Senate races on a "woman" with a "horrible history " - as he slammed the Sunshine State's Election Day debacle as a "disgrace".

AP on Tuesday called the election for Republican Ron DeSantis over Democrat Andrew Gillum. Bill Nelson and the race may be headed to a recount.
