Toyota announces new recall of 2.4 million hybrid cars

Auris, Prius and Prius+ hybrid cars with the 1.8-litre engine, built between October 2008 and November 2014, are affected.

The company said Friday that in rare cases the vehicles might fail to enter a "failsafe" driving mode, lose power and stall.

After reaching out to the auto giant, Toyota told us that customers affected by the recall will be contacted directly to alert them of the problem.

"This recall affects limited numbers of customers in Ireland, and if any customer has any queries or concerns our dealer network will be happy to address these".

States saw their Value-Added Tax revenue from petro goods rise from Rs 1,37,157 crore in 2014-15 to Rs 1,84,091 crore in 2017-18. We welcome this decision and thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of the people and BJP workers.

"There have been no incidence of injury or accident in Australia because of the fault", a Toyota spokesperson told 9NEWS.

"Once the latest software is available, Borneo Motors (Singapore) will update the software for all involved vehicles at no charge", said Borneo Motors.

"If this occurs, the vehicle could lose power and stall".

Some of the cars have already been recalled for a separate drivetrain issue.

Brewers Beat Cubs to Win NL Central Division
Manager Joe Maddon and the Chicago Cubs insist they still have plenty left to make another deep run in the postseason. Webster hit a batter, but he worked out of the inning without giving up a run and wound up with the win.

This isn't the first time Toyota has been forced to recall some of its cars.

Prius vehicles were involved in an earlier recall for a different problem, that did not fix the current software issue, the company said. The company says that certain models of Prius cars are stalling on roads as the driver tries to lock the "failsafe" mode on the vehicle.

The automaker is recalling another 168,000 sedans, trucks, and SUVs for more ECU problems that can shut off some or all of the airbags.

If you want to see if your vehicle is mentioned in a safety recall, you can check the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's site. In November 2017, Toyota recalled the 2012-2015 Prius Plug-in for fuses that could similarly shut down the entire auto while driving.

Powers adds that this new deal is positive because it allows fruit growers to continue producing the same amount of produce. He has repeated the complaint often since, threatening to punish Canada with devastating automobile duties.
