The longest game in World Series history was bananas.

Boston Red Sox pitcher Nathan Eovaldi gave one of the most impressive performances of his career in Game 3 of the World Series on October 26, which went on for a history-making 18 innings.

Kenley Jansen relieved to start the eighth for the Dodgers, a night after allowing Jackie Bradley's tying home run in the eighth inning of a game the Dodgers won, 3-2.

The Red Sox scored just two runs in their first 24 innings at Dodger Stadium, but added nine more in the final three innings of Game 4.

"I'm just trying to do whatever I can to help this team win", Kinsler said.

Saudi Arabia says it will prosecute Khashoggi killers
Most recently, the kingdom said that the killing of the Washington Post columnist was "premeditated" by Saudi operatives. Saudi Arabia has said they will be tried in Saudi courts. "If I knew something like this would happen", she said.

His options for Game 4 include Pomeranz, ace Chris Sale on three days' rest or a total bullpen game with a bullpen that has pitched 20 1/3 innings in the first three games. A four-run deficit late in Game 4 definitely didn't faze them. Who they go to for Game 5 will largely depend on how much of a role the bullpen plays on Saturday, with starter Drew Pomeranz expected to pick up a few innings after Rodríguez finishes his outing.

Max Muncy sparked delirium among Los Angeles Dodgers fans after hitting the decisive home run in the longest game in World Series history on Friday.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora said that upon seeing Eovaldi on Saturday, the pitcher said he was ready, willing and eager to get the ball again in Game 4.

The Dodgers confirmed Hill on their Twitter account after the Red Sox said lefty Eduardo Rodriguez would be their starter. Eovaldi gave up two runs (one earned) on three hitsover six innings with five strikeouts.

Mitch Moreland's pinch-hit, three-run homer off Ryan Madson in the seventh, a two-out moonshot to right, cut the Dodgers' lead to 4-3.

Nunez first got hurt when trying to avoid the catcher chasing a loose ball in the batter's box. Said Red Sox manager Alex Cora: "It was just a bad night".

Pederson's home run was his first of this World Series and his fourth home runin six career World Series starts. He then went on to play for the Miami Marlins from 2012-2014, the New York Yankees from 2015-2016, and the Tampa Bay Rays for part of 2018 before joining the Red Sox.

Even the opposing manager couldn't help but gush a bit at what Eovaldi did in Game 3.

After Pearce arrived at second and Martinez was intentionally walked, Martinez used his hands to make a heart and mouthed "I love you!" to Pearce.

Jansen struggled against Houston a year ago in the World Series, too.

The Dodgers finally got it going in the sixth when Rodriguez hit leadoff hitter David Freese with a pitch near the knee and Justin Turner doubled down the left-field line to send pinch-runner Hernandez to third.
