Julie Chen returned to her hosting duties on Big BrotherThursday night after taking the week off from The Talk, following her husband Les Moonves's exit from CBS. She took a brief break from "The Talk," a CBS show she co-hosts.

"From outside the Big Brother house, I'm Julie Chen Moonves". By calling herself Julie Chen Moonves on live TV, the host is essentially letting the world know that she's sticking by her man. Chen was originally scheduled to appear Monday on the season premiere of CBS's "The Talk", which she co-hosts, but made a decision to skip the talk show entirely, citing a need to "be with my family", The Washington Post's Emily Yahr reported.

Only five players remain in the "Big Brother" house: Tyler, Angela, Sam, JC and Kaycee Clark.

One person tweeted, "Now THAT was a statement ... Welcome to double eviction night!" so the way in which she signed off was a strong statement that she's still proud to be Les' wife. "I did a great job of putting [a target on me] to begin with", Haleigh told Chen after they exchanged compliments with each other. In response to the New Yorker report Sunday, Moonves said he never used his position "to hinder the advancement or careers of women" and called the allegations untrue. Following the story's publication, CBS's board launched an investigation into Moonves, The Post reported.

Moonves has denied any wrongdoing.

The executive producer of the CBS television program 60 Minutes, Jeff Fager, is leaving CBS News, according to a company memo on Wednesday, amid reports of inappropriate behaviour.

Though Chen has largely stayed quiet following her husband's ousting, she did tweet a statement in July after Farrow's first story.

"I think that is a disgrace to her husband's victims", wrote one Twitter user. "I fully support my husband and stand behind him and his statement".
