Donald Trump's friendliness with Russia's President Vladimir Putin has mystified Western observers

"Fake News reporting, a complete fabrication, that I am concerned about the meeting my wonderful son, Donald, had in Trump Tower", Trump said, referencing reports from CNN and The Washington Post that indicated he is concerned his son will face legal consequences in special counsel Robert MuellerRobert Swan MuellerSasse: US should applaud choice of Mueller to lead Russian Federation probe MORE's probe.

In an angry tweet yesterday morning, however, he attacked the "Fake News" media reports that he was concerned about his son's role.

Zeitz described Trump "calling me a third-rate lawyer", explaining he knew it was a good sign because it meant "I had gotten to him".

In June 2016, Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and campaign chairman Paul Manafort met with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.

Trump might as well have just confirmed The Post's report that he is anxious about what the meeting portends for his son. That initial statement said the meeting "primarily" involved a discussion of an obscure law governing American adoptions of Russians - not opposition research on Hillary Clinton.

Also a senior committee nominee, Brazile was drafted sixth overall out of Jackson State, two picks behind his teammate. He also set the single-season record with 23 touchdown catches in 2007 while with New England.

In other words, the objective of holding the meeting, from the Trump team's perspective, was to get negative information about Hillary Clinton.

The New York Times breathlessly reports: "President Admits Focus of Trump Tower Meeting Was Getting Dirt on Clinton".

Any legal battle over whether the president can be forced to testify could go all the way to the US Supreme Court, the lawyer, Jay Sekulow, said on ABC's This Week show.

Last July, Sekulow had said the president "didn't sign off on anything" in regards to the Trump Tower meeting.

He reiterated that he had no prior knowledge of the 20-minute meeting when it happened, adding that "it went nowhere". More than a year ago, he tweeted: "Most politicians would have gone to a meeting like the one Don jr attended in order to get info on an opponent". At the time, Trump and his White House had falsely claimed that he had only offered his input into the crafting of the statement.

It was nearly an easy-going partnership for the opening duo as they brought up 50 off just 70 balls before the drama began. The India captain was running out of partners, however, as his team chased down England's first-innings total of 287.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is examining whether Trump campaign members coordinated with Russian Federation to sway the White House race in his favour.

"The question is how would it be illegal?" Betraying no surprise or misgivings about the offer from a hostile foreign power, Trump Jr. replied: "If it's what you say I love it especially later in the summer".

"I don't represent Don Jr., but I will tell you I have no knowledge at all of Don Jr. being told that he's a target of any investigation, and I have no knowledge of him being interviewed by the special counsel", Sekulow said Sunday. Paul Manafort, who ran Trump's campaign at a crucial time leading into the Republican National Convention, is now on trial on charges concerning his previous business activities that grew out of Mueller's probe. "They can also cause War!"

U.S. President Donald Trump makes a comment about how hot the room is during his Make America Great Again rally in Olentangy Orange High School in Lewis Center, OH, U.S., August 4, 2018. Mueller was appointed to take over the probe after the firing.

This was initially denied by Mr Trump's team, but his lawyers later confirmed that he had in fact dictated his son's statement.

Officials say 20 people who had been reporting missing in California's devastating wildfires are now accounted for. This could lead to "dangerous and rapid irregular spreading of a large wildfire", the service said in an advisory.

Still, the attorney said, Trump is "no dummy".
