Perseids meteor shower this year will go on till 13 August and it will be easily visible with at least a dozen shooting stars visible to the naked eye. Scientists promised up to 100 stars per hour.

PERSEID METEOR SHOWER: The dry air aloft should actually help us out with less hazy viewing conditions for the Perseid Meteor Shower. The Network was published colorful pictures, which depicted the stars from different parts of the world.

The streaks, which reach their peak every August, were created by the debris left by the comet's previous passes, the last of which was in 1992. The video was made aboard the global space station.

On a clear night close to peaking hour, one could expect to count about 60 meteors per hour.
