Angry priest slaps baby who wouldn’t stop crying during baptism

A video of a priest slapping a crying baby being baptized has sparked outrage online - and rightly so. But 24 seconds into the video, the priest smacks the child on the cheek, eliciting louder cries and a gasp from the person filming. As a priest you are suppose to insure safety and peace but yet you slap my child!

"If I was the mother of that baby I wouldn't hesitate to push or slap the damn priest back".

As the priest continues to speak, the baby starts to cry so he grabs the child's face in his hands hugs him to his chest, possibly in an attempt to calm the youngster down.

Jeff Sessions says no one wants to split families
Faith leaders of all persuasions, including the leader of Sessions' own church , have denounced the policy. HuffPost has reached out to the pastors of both congregations for comment but has not heard back.

The video was also posted on Reddit, with one user writing: "This happened today in France, I'm really shocked".

The Daily Mail quickly got wind of the video, but it's not known when the footage was filmed, just that it was captured in a church where the ceremony was conducted in French.

The baby's parents, visibly shocked, eventually manage to extricate the child from the priest's grip during the ceremony in Champeaux, about 50 kilometres (30 miles) southeast of Paris. I'm going to pour water on the forehead. And then, I'll kiss the lil' kid - because he'll have become a little Christian.
