Lakers Rumors: LA's Pitch to Sign Paul George Has Been Revealed

Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball (2) defends Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James (23) in the first quarter at Quicken Loans Arena.

According to a report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Ramona Shelburne, and Brian Windhorst, there is mounting pressure for the Los Angeles Lakers to trade for Leonard before free agency starts on July 1.

"Here they have made a huge risk in trading for me, knowing I have one year on my deal", George says of the Thunder.

Media criticism of my lifestyle is 'unbelievable' - Sterling
England's Fabian Delph is ready to miss a World Cup match to be at the birth of his third child. The England manager said on talkSPORT: "It doesn't bother me in the slightest".

Right now, it's a wait and see game between Paul George and where he will choose and LeBron James who will likely make his decision after other big moves have been made.

On the heels of reporting surrounding the Los Angeles Lakers and an aggressive trade pursuit of Kawhi Leonard before LeBron James acts on a player option for the 2018-19 National Basketball Association season, buzz is building that James' arrival in the nation's second-largest market could be dictated by another star (i.e. Leonard or Paul George) coming alongside him.

Teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers are both in the market for the services of James and George. "Our goal is to keep him as part of our program for a long time". A recent report by the Orange County Register's Mark Heisler included this quote from a source identified as a general manager for an Eastern Conference team: "LeBron is doing what he does: calling players on other teams he wants to play with".

European Union counter-tariffs against USA come into effect on Friday - commission
Jonathan Davis, owner of a wealth management firm, said the European Union was "on a hiding to nothing" by clashing with Mr Trump. Its biggest target has been China, against which President Trump this week ordered new tariffs on $200 billion worth of goods.

With Paul George still reportedly undecided on leaving Oklahoma City, despite the almost two years long rumors of him bolting to Los Angeles, the Lakers have little choice but to improve their package for Leonard. The only problem is that the initial conversations between the two teams did not go well, the network previously reported.

The video is entitled "Two Dreams" and while it does not name George specifically, the 28-year-old was born in Palmdale, a small city mentioned twice in the voiceover. According to reports, Leonard may not only have LA in mind as his next destination.
