Future Hall of Famer Dwight Howard keeps getting traded

Report Nets acquire Dwight Howard send Hornets Mozgov

Shortly after, Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania confirmed the deal and the pieces being flipped. He had two years and $33.7 million left on what is considered one of the worst contracts in basketball.

In the deal, the Nets will send two future second-round picks, cash and center Timofey Mozgov to the Hornets for Howard.

Hummels criticises Germany tactics in Mexico loss
Mexico supporters outnumbered Germany fans at the Luzhniki Stadium and made nearly all of the noise, roaring their team forward. It took Mexico 56 years to win a World Cup opener - their victory coming at the ninth attempt on home soil at Mexico 1986.

While the move allows the Hornets to unload Howard's contract and save about $7 million under this year's salary cap, it is a bit of a gamble because Mozgov has two years remaining on his current contract at $16 million per year. Recently hired Hornets general manager Mitch Kupchak signed Mozgov to a four-year, $64 million deal in 2016 when both were with the Los Angeles Lakers. It's no surprise to see that he did not want Howard on his team this time around. Allen started 31 of the Nets' final 32 games last season, averaging 10.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.7 blocks on 62.1 percent shooting in 23.8 minutes per game in that span. So he might not be interested in taking on a reduced role.

Some of the notable possible National Basketball Association free agents that season include Klay Thompson, Deandre Jordan, and Kemba Walker, according to Spotrac. There would be no need to stretch the buyout (nor would that be wise with Deron Williams still showing up on the cap list for the next two years at nearly $5.5 million per annum).

Michael Porter Jr. cancels second pro day because of strained hip
For much of 2017, Porter was projected to be one of the top two picks in the 2018 National Basketball Association draft. Porter underwent back surgery in his first and only collegiate season, but has said "There's no risk to reinjure it".

The Hornets will receive the Nets' second-round pick (No. 45) in Thursday's National Basketball Association draft and a 2021 second-round pick.

Howard struggled to mesh with guard Nicolas Batum, and the Hornets failed to make the playoffs despite what former coach Steve Clifford considered the team's most talented roster in half a decade.

China slaps additional tariffs on USD 50 bn worth of US goods
The country's Commerce Ministry said China will apply tariffs on U.S. goods at the "same scale and the same strength". The White House has announced a 25 percent levy on technology-related products worth around $50 billion.

Getting that, along with a path to two max salary slots in 2019-20 in exchange for getting rid of a grumbling Timofey Mozgov?
