Here’s the sequel to the surprisingly nice Black Berry KeyOne Brian Heater @ 7 hours

The newer BlackBerry Key2 has the following dimensions 151.4mm x 71.8mm x 8.5mm with a weight of 168 grams. Just like the KEYone, the BlackBerry Key2's keyword will respond to touch gestures as well. A year later the KEY2 has arrived packing a similar design with plenty of refinements, on the surface and under the hood. That's to say it's a candybar design, much like the Curves and Bolds of yesteryear, rather than a slider or all-touchscreen device. How many more of these the duo will make is anyone's guess. It has largely accomplished this. It's mostly the same story for the Key2, but there are some changes.

The BlackBerry KEY2 will go on sale later this month, priced at $649 unlocked and SIM-free. The space bar still doubles as a fingerprint scanner. The promise is more accuracy and fewer typos. Providing juice is a huge 3,500 mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0.

BlackBerry KEYone had a Snapdragon 625 processor.

The KEY2 doesn't do too much that's different to the KEYone, but it improves everything in either minor or major ways. BlackBerry has also added in portrait mode so that you can add a blurry background to your photos if you'd like.

Chinese killed, 34 wounded in Ontario’s bus accident
Hud Johnson said he witnessed the aftermath of the crash, with "four of five people lying down, medical people attending him". The Ontario Provincial Police and other emergency crews are on the scene of a crash on Hwy 401 at Edward Street in Prescott.

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, the KEY2 also has a 4.5-inch touch display. Like the KeyOne, it supports microSD cards for storage expansion.

Another area that's seen some love is the camera.

While TCL boasted new features, including a dual-rear camera and enhanced privacy controls, it's the keyboard that highlights the launch. The rear camera is capable of shooting 4K videos at 30fps and 1080p videos at 60fps. That's probably going to be adequate for anyone who buys this device for work.

"BlackBerry has been iterating and perfecting our approach to mobile security for decades, and we're excited to have this new genuine, modern BlackBerry smartphone available for our fans around the world to enjoy". Plus, the device comes hardened against attacks by default. There are about 15 BlackBerry apps preloaded in total. This includes DTEK, which lets users track the real-time health of their phone, as well as Locker, which is an ultra-secure container for your files and documents.

Hawaii lava destroys 2 oceanfront communities
More than 2,500 residents from the area have had to leave with more than 300 seeking refuge in nearby community centers. His ocean-view property sits on a ridge near the base of Kapoho crater, and he thinks the lava could have missed it.

Of course, we'll need to spend significantly more time testing the BlackBerry KEY2 before deeming it a hit, but until that in-depth review is done, we must admit we have a very good feeling about this bad boy.

BlackBerry will be streaming the whole announcement event on YouTube, and you can find that video below in this article - though if you're reading this earlier in the day it won't be live yet, so come back later.

The BlackBerry KEY2 begins shipping globally in June and will cost £579 GBP / $649 Dollars / €649 Euro / $829 CAD.
