"His software called "Bet and Take" is quite famous among bookies and is used by them in India and internationally as well", inspector Rajkumar Kotmire of the Thane anti-extortion cell had revealed, says Mid-Day.

Steve Bruce: 'I want Jack Grealish to stay'
Soon after the flurry of early chances for Fulham , Steve Bruce's side finally started to get into the game for the first time. Villa threw everything forward in the nail-biting closing stages but Fulham held on without too many alarms.

The names of a Bollywood celebrity, contractors and builders figured in the diary, police said. Also, the name of a Pakistani politician has come to the fore, an angle cops are probing. "Subsequently, there was another huge transaction between them".

Sonu Jalan is also said to be associated with Dawood Ibrahim and is a close aide of another top global bookie running the racket. Apparently, Khan was blackmailed into paying crores, the threat being that his gambling habit would be exposed.

The president also raised eyebrows by spelling his wife's name wrong in a tweet welcoming her home from hospital. Trump had a kidney operation earlier this month, which the White House said had gone well.

The police found a diary of 42-year-old Jalan, NDTV reported. "We need to corroborate it with evidence and statements of those who are linked with the racket". "We suspect that Khan had placed bets on IPL matches and want to scrutinise his bank transactions", another police official told PTI. "His network could involve almost 3,500 punters", said Sharma.

The Thane police has also found out about Jalan living a life of luxury with a number of flats in Mumbai.
