Resilient Lightning rebound to beat Bruins 4-2 in Game 2

From the start of the series, the focus of the Tampa Bay Lightning has been shutting down, or at least, containing the top two lines of the Bruins. Hedman assisted on the second Palat goal and a Steven Stamkos power play goal on an empty net in the final minute to clinch it. The Bruins have also been abysmal on the power play against Tampa, convering on just three of their 19 opportunities, and Donato could provide a spark on that front as well (two of his five goals came with the man advantage). "That's what we brought in the first".

Surely not a third successive game? But the faceoff police haven't let up since, and slashing inconsistencies are so bad that players are baffled with what they can and can't do. The Bruins are at their best when they possess and cycle the puck with speed in the offensive zone.

Both hits came in Washington wins as the Caps took a 2-1 lead in the second round of the playoffs. So far, the trio of Riley Nash, David Backes and Danton Heinen are scoreless this series - tallying just one even-strength goal over 10 postseason matchups.

Make no mistake that Rask has that type of performance in him, too.

Mahmoud Abbas Holocaust remarks spark outrage from USA and Israeli officials
The Holocaust has been a long time fascination for Abbas. "But it was likely much smaller, perhaps less than a million". He also said it was a historical "fact" that no Jews were attacked in the Arab nations in the last 1,400 years.

And that isn't on Rask. They're just playing responsible.

Boston cut the lead to 2-1, but the Lightning gained the two-goal lead back just a couple of minutes later. The Lightning forward elicited a clear sigh of relief as he finally got on the scoring sheet for the first time this series.

The first period saw the Tampa Bay Lightning at their best. Tampa Bay could rest its top guys while Boston was grinding out a seven-game victory over Toronto. "I'm going to be better Wednesday". Of course not. But he could contribute to a win, and could have a big impact on a single game. That should tell you all need to know about the confidence level in the bottom six to generate chances. Pastrnak and Marchand set up Krug's goal to keep the Bruins close.

That, in a nutshell, is what the Lightning have done the past two games. "We have faith in them, and I thought they were outstanding tonight", Cooper said before turning his attention back to Point. It's probably what he felt he had to do to make sure NHL Player Safety took its hearing with Tom Wilson seriously. It may be a bit of a pivot point in the series. It was off the mark and went right to Point, who wheeled with it and fed Palat for what looked like an insurance goal that turned out to be the game-winning snipe with 5:52 left.

The company has been struggling to recover from its controversial Snapchat redesign, which has pushed away some of its core users. Failing to capitalize on Facebook's recent missteps, Snap's first-quarter earnings and usership missed analyst expectations.

We've entered the fourth season of the annual South Point-lined Play of the Day competition, effective July 1. Tampa Bay could not practice at TD Garden because the Celtics were hosting the 76ers in the National Basketball Association playoffs.

Marcus Sorensen, Joonas Donskoi, Tomas Hertl and Joe Pavelski all scored for the Sharks and goaltender Martin Jones stopped 34 shots in his sixth career playoff shutout.

Game five of the series, which has seen the teams alternate victories, is in Las Vegas on Friday. The B's are still in control of this series until they drop a game at home. But when Marchand was going in on breakaway after Krug's goal late in the game, Anton Stralman got away with a good whack on Marchand's hands.

There was none of that in a potential swing game in this series. It wasn't the 7-0 type of blowout that Vegas laid on the Sharks in Game 1, but it was almost as bad-San Jose controlled the game all night.
