White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly on Monday denied that he said President Trump is an "idiot", calling an NBC News story that said he had done so "total BS".

"I am committed to the President, his agenda, and our country", Kelly concluded.

A passage from James Comey's memoir has also reportedly gotten under Trump's skin, in which Kelly tells Comey that he wanted to quit soon after the former Federal Bureau of Investigation director was sacked to avoid working for "dishonorable people".

The Associated Press reported Trump has chafed at Kelly's controlling management style, and has talked with friends occasionally about replacing him. Kelly provided Trump with two names for consideration: Kobach and Kelly's deputy, Kirstjen Nielsen.

Still, officials who spoke to NBC News seemed to believe that Kelly could be leaving Trump's White House by July.

Caravan Arrives In Tijuana, As Migrants Prepare To Request Asylum
The group is a part of a larger caravan , almost 400 people in all, looking to seek asylum at the the San Ysidro Port of Entry. She plans to give the Central Americans advice for their asylum cases before many of them cross on Sunday.

The NBC News report quoted officials as saying Kelly portrays himself as fighting a lonely battle to curb Trump's erratic impulses and stave off disaster.

"The strong implication being 'if I weren't here we would've entered WWIII or the president would have been impeached, '" a former White House official told reporters.

Calling the president an "idiot" might have been the beginning of the end for former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who reportedly made the comment about Mr. Trump at a Pentagon meeting last summer.

Others say that Kelly's critiques of Trump's intelligence are standard fare around the White House, particularly surfacing on the topic of immigration.

Last month, Trump blasted the fact that the USA had American men and women stationed at the South and North Korean border, but did not protect its own borders with service members.

Palmer says the husband and wife are both still in jail and face a detention hearing on Monday. "They've read the complaint". Attorneys for a North Texas couple are blasting accusations that they committed a girl to a life of forced labor.

Former Congresswoman Donna Edwards (D-MD) agreed with Greer's assertion, saying that especially given Kelly's comments about women, "he's a mirror image in this respect of the president that he serves".

"He doesn't even understand what DACA is".

They also said Kelly is actually the "bigger gentleman" who steps in when aides use foul language to note "a lady is present" and who apologizes if he curses in front of a woman.

While people who are honest and keep tabs on the president are valuable assets, it's also disheartening that the people who end up in those positions often push him toward even more radical anti-immigration policies.

Zach Fuentes, assistant to the chief of staff and special assistant to the president, reaffirmed Kelly's statement, telling ABC News the story is "complete BS". We don't get paid very much for this, do we?
