Trump has repeatedly denied collusion.

A source familiar with the matter told CNN in March that the President's legal team had created dozens of potential questions Mueller's team could ask in an interview based off the topics his team had conveyed verbally to Trump's team.

Robert Mueller's special counsel team has shared more than 40 questions they hope to ask President Trump about their investigation.

The New York Times obtained a list of those questions and published some them on Monday night.

According to the New York Times , Pompeo was somewhat more blunt with the Saudis in private about the dispute with Qatar. He pointed to its actions in Yemen and its support of the Houthi militias.

The questions also appear to suggest that Mueller is interested in the steps that Trump took to fire him past year and his subsequent backing away from the decision, the Times reported.

The brunt of what special counsel Robert Mueller plans to grill President Trump on - should he agree to an interview - is how he treated former Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey before and after his infamous firing.

The questions are the clearest signal yet that Mueller has enough circumstantial evidence to suspect the president of obstruction, and also has reason to believe Trump might have known of the Russian Federation links.

Perhaps the most intriguing question regarding possible collusion is about Paul Manafort, the former Trump campaign chairman. According to multiple news reports on the matter, Trump had seen Sessions - who was the first sitting United States senator to publicly endorse him during his campaign - as someone who would protect him from the Russian Federation probe. Mr Flynn is now cooperating with Mr Mueller's investigators.

Smythe ended a four-year career at Notre Dame in 2017, where he made a career-high 15 catches for 244 yards and a touchdown. Gesicki, a 6-foot-6, 249-pounder from Stafford Township, could make an immediate impact in the NFL .

One question asks what discussions Mr Trump may have had regarding "any meeting with [Russian President Vladimir Putin]".

Mueller is leading the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and if there were any ties between Moscow and Trump campaign associates. Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to Federal Bureau of Investigation agents about those phone calls, which occurred in December 2016. Mueller hopes to ask Trump the objective for several meetings he had with Comey during the early days of his presidency.

Previously, Trump said he would be willing to sit down for an interview under oath with Mueller.

The following day, according to memos written by Mr Comey, Mr Trump cleared the Oval Office of other officials and encouraged Mr Comey to drop the investigation into Mr Flynn. John Dowd, who was the top lawyer on the legal squad, reportedly opposed an interview. That would suggest charges are not expected against Trump.
