With his bail plea scheduled for hearing for 10:30 am today, Salman Khan is believed to have woken up by 6:30 am today. About a decade ago, the actor was serving a short sentence period at Jodhpur Central jail. Four other Bollywood stars, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam Kothari, were acquitted for lack of evidence.

This is the fourth case filed against Khan in connection with poaching wild animals during the filming of the popular movie, Hum Saath Saath Hain.

The court's judgment versus Khan, who's 32.5 million followers on Twitter and has been boosting his own picture a week, also sparked concerns between Bollywood merchants.

The actor insists he is innocent.

Around 11 am, Khan's sisters Alvira and Arpita were the first to walk in towards the CJM court, situated on the first floor of district and sessions court.
