The singer was found unconscious at his Minnesota home on April 21, 2016.

Ironically, Carver County Attorney Mark Metz also announced today that no criminal charges would be filed as a result of his death, which Metz said was "accidental".

March 26 - The AP publishes details from a confidential toxicology report that sheds light on just how much fentanyl Prince had in his system.

Despite an "intensive investigation", Metz said officials were unable to determine who provided Prince with the drugs that killed him, and so were ending their investigation.

Beyond the fine, Dr. Michael Todd Schulenberg is also required to be monitored under a two-year agreement with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration where his prescriptions will be inspected, according to documents detailing the settlement.

The definition is however lower than the other two devices, and the fingerprint reader for this model is located on the back. There's a 3,200mAh battery - as opposed to the G6's 3,000mAh one - and a faster 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor.

Kornfeld told detectives that he had drugs in his backpack to help Prince, but would not have administered them without a doctor present.

As The New York Times reports, even though the County investigation has concluded, a federal one could continue.

"Nothing at all the evidence suggests Prince intentionally swallowed fentanyl", Metz mentioned, that there was "no evidence that means of a physician prescribed the pills that killed Prince".

Investigators were told that the singer, whose legal name was Prince Rogers Nelson, had a history of going through withdrawals believed to be tied to prescription pain medication abuse, the unsealed documents showed.

The press conference will take place at the Carver County Justice Center in Minnesota at 11:30 a.m. "We had to do it because I knew he would not want to meet individually with editors". Johnson has declined to talk about Prince's last days. "But suspicions and innuendo are categorically insufficient to support any criminal charges".

Prince likely took those same pills when his plane had to make an emergency landing in Illinois, Metz said, though the pills Prince had at the time were never chemically tested.

Prosecutors had alleged that Schulenberg violated the Controlled Substance Act, which regulates the use of medical drugs. Metz said Prince had no prescription for fentanyl or Vicodin. The settlement doesn't include an admission of guilt, and in addition to the $30,000, he has agreed to increased monitoring of prescriptions he issues.

Brooker said Schulenberg was not the target of any criminal investigation in Prince's death.

Oxycodone, the generic name for the active ingredient in OxyContin, was not listed as a cause of Prince's death. Almost 2 million Americans abused or were addicted to prescription opioids, including oxycodone, in 2014.

The report said the concentration of Fentanyl in Prince's blood was 67.8 micrograms per liter.
