Free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick was reportedly scheduled to work out for the Seattle Seahawks this week, but the Seahawks have postponed the trip.

Kaepernick has a pending lawsuit alleging collusion by the league office, owners and teams to keep him out of the NFL.

Kaepernick has been a free agent since March of 2017, following a 2016 NFL season in which he created significant controversy as a member of the San Francisco 49ers by protesting inequality and police brutality against minorities by kneeling and sitting during the national anthem.

The Seahawks are searching for a backup quarterback behind Russell Wilson.

The video shows him alleging that the MLA threatened him to stop pursuing the case, "otherwise, results would be very bad". However, the mortal remains of the deceased were consigned to the flames on Tuesday, hours after his custodial death.

While the anthem protests eventually died down last season, during the owner's meeting the topic was brought back up. His NFL exile appeared to be coming to an end this week with reports that the Seahawks were bringing him in for a workout, but ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Seahawks backed off plans to take a look at Kaepernick.

Kaepernick has continued working out in hopes of landing another job in the NFL.

Seattle also had concerns about his plans for the future, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. In an article for the New York Times last September, Reid discussed approaching Kaepernick after the 49ers' third preseason game to see how he could get involved in the protests.

The 30-year-old hasn't played since the 2016 season when he made headlines for kneeling during the national anthem in protest of racial inequality.

The unnamed source admitted to being shocked by what she witnessed. They were talking and being around each other all night.

Both outlets indicated the door has not closed on Kaepernick potentially landing in Seattle.

While Kaepernick is still expected to be an option for the Seahawks, ESPN reported other quarterbacks are also under consideration. The Baltimore Ravens were reportedly thinking about signing him past year but decided not to go forward. A source told ESPN the trip was put off after the Seahawks argued about Kaepernick's anthem protest.

On Tuesday, Kaepernick attended a residue with National Football League attorneys in NY.

Kaepernick sat in the previous depositions just he did with Jones.
