South Korea played host to a number of North Korean acts during the 2018 Winter Olympics, and it looks as though the North is willing to return the favour by inviting not one, not two but 160 South Korean artists across the border.

"Our goal is to impress North Koreans in the same way as South Koreans are moved by their musicians", singer, composer, music director, and the South's chief delegate Yoon Sang said, according to the Yonhap news agency. They commented on their participation, "We are honored and happy to attend a meaningful event". The girls are now looking forward to showing their talents in front of their North Korean fans. "We will prepare well to showcase great performances", they said.
