No new conditions on North Korea before talks

President Donald Trump agreed last week to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in the next two months. This would be the first ever face-to-face meeting between sitting leaders of the U.S. and North Korea

President Donald Trump agreed last week to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in the next two months. This would be the first ever face-to-face meeting between sitting leaders of the U.S. and North Korea

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said the US expects North Korea to be in direct touch after President Donald Trump agreed to Kim Jong Un's invitation to meet, urging patience as preparations for the potentially historic handshake are worked out.

It is finally happening, US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will be meeting face-to-face in May after months of exchange of threats, including the deployment of nuclear weapons against each other's territories, and months of bellicose posturing that brought the world to the brink of a nuclear war.

North Korea has notoriously violated global agreements on non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, walked out of the Six Party Talks in 2008, and breached United Nations sanctions on the regime.

South Korean envoys had earlier briefed Mr Trump on the meeting they had this week with Mr Kim, saying he was now "committed to denuclearisation". The offer was made and we've accepted.

China lawmakers abolish presidential term limits
China's parliament voted today to abolish presidential term limits , clearing the path for President Xi Jinping to rule for life. However, if the policies are not right for China, there's no much to be done.

What does North Korea want?

"I believe such a good mood began as Prime Minister Abe and U.S. Vice President (Mike) Pence attended the opening ceremony of the Pyeongchang Olympics", he added.

Abe has said he will visit the United States early next month to hold talks with Trump to coordinate their policies on North Korea ahead of what would be the first-ever meeting between a sitting US president and a North Korean leader. That doesn't seem to be the case here - this South Korean-brokered meeting has come somewhat out of the blue. Beijing has long feared instability and a possible collapse of North Korea, which could result in a unified peninsula allied with the United States, and American troops deployed close to the border with China.

North Korea and the United States have made the possibility of talks more likely by easing tensions. He threatened to rain "fire and fury" on North Korea; called its dictator, Kim Jong-un, "Little Rocket Man;" and bragged that his "nuclear button" was much bigger than Kim's.

Trump hits possible Warren presidency: 'Pocahontas' is losing an audience
Rob Gray, a Republican political analyst, said the criticism could hurt Warren more if it came from a rival Democrat. Or, at least, that's what she wants us to believe. "Never used it for anything".

The South Korean officials who carried Kim's invitation to Washington are visiting China and Japan this week to update their neighbours on the talks.

"That we were able to get to this stage shows China has played an important role", he said.

Secretary Tillerson also said it would take "some weeks" to arrange the meeting.

If the United States sends special envoys to North Korea, they are the likely candidates, he added. One caveat - Kim is not known to have travelled outside North Korea since he took office in 2011.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 might use Blizzard's Battle.net
That's about a month earlier than the early November release window that's traditionally used for new Call of Duty titles. It's been rumoured for a while that we'd be getting a new Black Ops title as the Call of Duty game this year.

The Security Council has imposed tough economic sanctions aimed at choking off revenue to Pyongyang's military programs after Kim's regime carried out a sixth nuclear test and a series of advanced missile launches. "That's a day when Iran's military may very well already have the missile technology to send a nuclear warhead to the United States - a technology that North Korea only recently developed".
