"We would encourage anybody with information, whether it be about former Dean Strampel or whether it's about anything at Michigan State that they're concerned about, call the hotline at the attorney general's office and report that". At a news conference Tuesday, special prosecutor Bill Forsyth, who is leading the investigation, declined to answer any questions, including those about the evidence collected from Strampel's computer.

Strampel told police past year that he never followed up after ordering Nassar in 2014 to have a third person present when providing treatment to "anything close to a sensitive area", and that any skin-to-skin contact should be minimal and explained in detail.

William Strampel, 70, who led Michigan State's medical school from 2002 until late a year ago, was arrested Monday evening and taken to jail on four charges - one felony and three misdemeanors - stemming from the Michigan Attorney General's Office's ongoing investigation of the role others at the school may have played in crimes committed by Nassar, the former Michigan State and USA Gymnastics physician accused by more than 250 girls and women of sexual abuse. He told police past year that he never followed up after ordering Nassar in 2014 to have a third person present when providing treatment to "anything close to a sensitive area".

The complaint, which alleges Strampel solicited nude photos from at least one female medical student, said he used his office to "harass, discriminate, demean, sexually proposition, and sexually assault female students in violation of his statutory duty as a public officer". Nassar pleaded guilty to molesting patients and possessing child pornography.

After a short hearing in state court in East Lansing, Strampel's attorney John Dakmak told reporters, "My client denies that he ever engaged in any inappropriate touching of anyone". Survivors of his systemic abuse are happy with the move to arrest Strampel, who was supportive of Nassar throughout the investigation into him.

Joshua warning for rival Parker
But he insisted that, after several hours of press duties, he had to eat before heading off for another training session. Many bookies are split and see the fight as a 50-50 and Joshua is certainly not underestimating his opponent.

Nassar was sacked in 2016 for violating the chaperone rules. At least 12 reported assaults occurred after the probe ended, according to university police.

According to court docs, Strampel is facing 4 charges including 4th degree criminal sexual conduct with force or coercion, and willful neglect of duty - a misdemeanor.

Strampel was the dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine, which includes the sports medicine clinic, until he announced a leave of absence for medical reasons in December.

The Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine dean, who stepped down in 2017, is listed as being an inmate at the Ingraham County (Michigan) Jail as of Tuesday morning.

The Huffington Post talked with a spokesperson from Michigan State, who said MSU would not speak on behalf of Strampel, but said that John Engler, MSU's interim president, began the process of terminating Strampel's employment in February.

Twitter Will Start Banning Cryptocurrency Ads From Today
Representatives of Twitter stated that they were taking the action to protect those who used the social media platform. Going by the Bitcoin price reaction, cryptocurrency market showed resilience when Twitter enforced its ad ban.

He also reportedly stored on his work computer a pornographic video, nude photos of women, and a clip of Nassar performing a "treatment" on a younger patient. Roughly 200 women gave statements in two courtrooms over 10 day of proceedings.

A message seeking comment was left Monday night with Strampel's civil attorneys.

John Manly, a lawyer for numerous victims, said his clients were encouraged by the latest arrest.

That 2014 investigation had resulted in a number of guidelines for Nassar to follow to continue his work at the university, including having another person present in the room during certain procedures.

Loyola, K-State an unlikely matchup
But just as importantly, Walker's trip to the free throw line ended with zero points for Miami and a rebound for Loyola Chicago. In the other regional final Saturday, third-seeded MI plays ninth-seeded Florida State in the West Region in Los Angeles.
